Role Description The Founding Sales GTM Engineer will play a hybrid role at the intersection of sales, engineering, and customer success in a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role involves partnering with the sales team to design and deliver technical demos, proofs of concept, and solution architectures tailored to client needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with prospective customers, understanding their technical and business requirements, configuring and showcasing Jaano.ai products, and providing hands-on technical support during the sales cycle.

The person in this role will collaborate with product and engineering to translate customer feedback into product improvements and help define repeatable go-to-market playbooks.



Post-sale, the GTM Engineer will assist with onboarding, ensure smooth handoffs to customer success, and help maintain strong customer relationships through responsive support and clear communication.

Qualifications

- Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to design solutions, run demos, and support customers through evaluation and implementation.
- Sales and Customer Service capabilities to manage the full sales cycle, build trust with prospects, and provide a positive end-to-end customer experience.
- Solid Communication skills to explain complex technical concepts in clear, accessible language to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience or familiarity with AI, SaaS, or enterprise software products, including solution design and integration concepts.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and sales teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Comfort working on-site in Mumbai and engaging directly with customers through meetings, workshops, and presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a willingness to iterate quickly and help build foundational GTM processes.
