1. Job Purpose

Medipol Pharmaceuticals India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a technically competent and detail-oriented F&D; Executive to support formulation development, product optimisation, process improvement and technology transfer activities for pharmaceutical formulations. The candidate will be responsible for developing and evaluating pharmaceutical formulations, conducting laboratory trials, preparing technical documentation, coordinating with QA/QC and Production departments, and ensuring compliance with applicable GMP and regulatory requirements.
1. Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop and evaluate pharmaceutical formulations, including tablets, capsules, syrups, dry syrups and other dosage forms, as applicable.
- Conduct laboratory-scale formulation trials, feasibility studies and optimisation experiments.
- Identify suitable APIs, excipients and packaging materials based on formulation requirements.
- Perform pre-formulation studies and assess compatibility of APIs with excipients.
- Support formulation development, process optimisation and product improvement activities.
- Coordinate with QC for analytical testing, evaluation and interpretation of formulation trial results.
- Conduct and monitor stability studies as per approved protocols and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain formulation development reports, batch manufacturing records, trial reports and other technical documents.
- Coordinate scale-up batches and technology transfer activities from R&D; to Production.
- Work closely with Production, QA,



QC and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure successful product development and commercialisation.
- Investigate formulation-related problems, troubleshoot manufacturing issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with GMP, applicable Schedule M requirements and internal SOPs.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, chemicals and development samples.
- Support preparation and review of product specifications, master formula records and process-related documents.
- Participate in product improvement, cost optimisation and development of recent formulations.

- B.Pharm / M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics will be preferred.

1. Experience & Technical Skills

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical Formulation & Development.
- Experience in pharmaceutical formulation development and laboratory trials.
- Knowledge of APIs, excipients, pre-formulation and formulation optimisation.
- Understanding of stability studies and analytical evaluation.
- Knowledge of GMP, revised Schedule M and pharmaceutical documentation.
- Exposure to scale-up and technology transfer activities.
- Good analytical, technical documentation and problem-solving skills.
