for Fabrication Fitter

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fabrication Fitter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of fabrication activities, fitting, assembly. The candidate must be capable of reading engineering drawings and carrying out fabrication and fitting jobs as per required specifications, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion of production work.

Responsibilities

· Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.

· Perform fabrication fitting activities, including marking, measuring, and assembling metal components.

· Carry out fit-up and alignment of fabricated structures and components as per drawings.

· Check dimensions, levels, angles, clearances, and tolerances using measuring instruments.

· Prepare components for welding and coordinate with welders during fabrication activities.

· Ensure proper assembly and fitting of structural and mechanical components.

· Identify and rectify fitting errors, dimensional deviations, and assembly issues.

· Coordinate with supervisors, welders, and production teams to complete jobs within the planned schedule.





· Maintain valuable housekeeping and follow workplace safety procedures.

· Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the fabrication process.

Requirements

· ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Fabrication.

· Proven experience as a Fabrication Fitter in the manufacturing or fabrication industry.

· Good knowledge of fabrication tools, equipment, and measuring instruments.

· Ability to read and understand engineering and fabrication drawings.

· Knowledge of cutting, grinding, fit-up, and assembly operations.

· Basic knowledge of fabrication methods.

· Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
