Job Summary The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial operations to ensure accurate accounting, statutory compliance, robust financial controls, and timely MIS reporting.

Primary Responsibilities

A. Accounting, Compliance & MIS Reporting

- Ensure monthly book closure within stipulated timelines with complete accuracy.
- Maintain 100% statutory and tax compliance including TDS, GST, PF, ESI, Skilled Tax, SEZ regulations, Customs, and other applicable laws.
- Ensure zero penalties, notices, or non-compliance from statutory authorities.
- Prepare, review, and present accurate and timely financial statements and MIS reports within agreed TAT (e.g., by the 5th of every month).
- Ensure consistency, integrity, accuracy, and process adherence of financial data presented to management.
- Manage accounting operations, financial records, and reporting through ERP platforms such as Odoo and Tally, ensuring accurate system entries and financial data integrity.
- Leverage Odoo and Tally to streamline financial reporting, ledger management, reconciliations, and compliance tracking

B. Audit Management & Internal Controls

- Coordinate with internal auditors to conduct audits as per approved audit plans.
- Manage statutory, tax, and external audits ensuring zero major audit observations.
- Track, document, and ensure 100% closure of audit observations within agreed timelines.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to strengthen internal controls and safeguard company assets.
- Maintain proper audit trails and documentation within Odoo/Tally systems to support audit readiness and transparency

Financial Controls, Budgeting & Cost Management

- Lead the annual budgeting process, including financial planning and forecasting.
- Monitor budget vs actual spend, conduct monthly variance analysis, and highlight deviations with explanations.
- Support leadership with cost optimization initiatives and financial discipline.
- Ensure spending approvals align with approved budgets and financial authority matrix.

D. Invoice Processing & Payables Management

- Ensure error-free processing of vendor invoices within defined TAT (3–5 working days).
- Maintain zero backlog in invoice processing.
- Ensure accuracy in GL coding, cost centre allocation, tax computation, supporting documents, and approvals.
- Ensure 100% adherence to internal approval hierarchies before invoice booking.
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies promptly.
- Process vendor invoices, maintain vendor ledgers, and manage accounts payable transactions through Odoo/Tally systems

E. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

- Monitor and manage cash flow, including forecasting cash requirements.
- Optimize cash reserves while balancing liquidity, investments, and operational needs




- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure healthy working capital.
- Track receivables, payables, and bank reconciliations through Odoo and Tally for accurate cash flow visibility

F. SEZ & Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with SEZ Act, GST, Customs, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Manage SEZ benefits, exemptions, duty drawbacks, GST returns, and refunds.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies including SEZ authorities, Customs, and Tax departments

G. Financial Analysis & Strategic Support

- Develop financial models, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
- Analyse financial performance and prepare insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Support leadership with data-driven recommendations and disciplined financial execution.
- Drive automation of recurring financial transactions and reporting using Odoo ERP and other digital finance tools

Secondary Responsibilities

- Support strategic planning and business initiatives from a financial perspective.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, bankers, and financial partners.
- Present financial updates, insights, and risk assessments to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, integrity, collaboration, and ownership within the finance function

Qualification & Experience:

- Min 8+yrs of experience in finance domain
- Min 2+ years of experience in a managerial role
- CA Qualified

Job Location: Infopark, Kakkanad, Kochi Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
