A Senior Executive in Formulation & Development (F&D;) is responsible for developing current pharmaceutical formulations, conducting trials, optimizing products, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Key Job Responsibilities

Formulation Development

Develop new pharmaceutical formulations for tablets, capsules, injections, liquids, and other dosage forms.

Work on generic product development and product improvement.

Select suitable excipients and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API).

R&D; Laboratory Activities

Conduct laboratory trials and formulation experiments.

Perform prototype development and optimize formulations.

Evaluate the physical and chemical properties of formulations.

Technology Transfer

Transfer developed products from the R&D; laboratory to the production department.

Prepare technology transfer documents and support scale-up batches.

Coordinate with Production, QA, and QC departments.

Documentation

Prepare and maintain formulation development reports.

Maintain BMR, BPR, SOPs, specifications, and trial records.





Prepare product development reports and stability study protocols.

Stability Studies

Conduct stability studies as per ICH guidelines.

Evaluate product stability under different storage conditions.

Analyze stability data and recommend product shelf life.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure formulation development activities comply with GMP and regulatory requirements.

Support preparation of CTD and regulatory submission documents.

Follow applicable pharmacopoeial and regulatory guidelines.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Coordinate with QA, QC, Production, and Regulatory Affairs.

Support troubleshooting during commercial manufacturing.

Assist in resolving formulation-related problems.

Product Optimization

Improve existing formulations for better quality and performance.

Work on cost optimization and process improvement.

Investigate formulation failures and recommend corrective actions.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
