Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based in Ghazipur.

The Fashion

Designer will develop seasonal collections and individual styles aligned with Pretty Group’s brand identity and production capabilities, with a focus on garments, knitwear, and textile-based products. Daily responsibilities include researching trends, creating sketches and technical drawings, selecting fabrics and trims, coordinating with sampling and production teams, and reviewing fittings to ensure proper construction, comfort, and aesthetics. The role involves close collaboration with merchandising, pattern-making,



and embroidery/printing units to translate design concepts into commercially viable products that meet quality and cost requirements.

The Fashion

Designer will also support continuous improvement in design processes, sustainability initiatives, and innovation in materials and finishes.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Fashion Design and Fashion concept development, including trend research, sketching, and technical specification creation.
- Practical experience with Textiles, including fabric types, properties, finishes, and appropriate material selection for different garment categories.
- Proficiency in Embroidery and decorative techniques, with the ability to integrate embellishments and prints into cohesive design concepts.
- Hands-on knowledge of Fitting and garment construction, with the ability to work with pattern makers and sample rooms to refine fit and silhouette.
- Ability to use design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar fashion CAD software) for digital sketches and tech packs.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with production, merchandising, and quality teams in a factory environment.
- Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to balance aesthetics with manufacturability and cost efficiency.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field; prior experience in garment manufacturing or knitwear design is an advantage.
