​About the Role

​We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Fashion Designer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience to join our growing boutique team. In this role, you will lead the design process from initial concept and sketching through fabric selection, pattern creation, and final garment construction. You will work closely with clients on custom orders while helping curate seasonal collections that reflect our boutique's unique aesthetic.

​Key Responsibilities

- ​Concept & Collection Design: Develop cohesive seasonal themes, mood boards, and original designs for custom wear and ready-to-wear collections.
- ​Client Consultations: Conduct one-on-one custom design sessions, understanding client preferences, taking accurate body measurements, and recommending styles, fabrics, and embroideries/embellishments.
- ​Sourcing & Material Selection: Source high-quality fabrics, trims, laces, and hardware from trusted suppliers while maintaining budget control.
- ​Patternmaking & Technical Production: Create accurate tech packs, flat sketches, and pattern drafts; oversee sampling, fittings, and alterations to ensure flawless fit and finishing.
- ​Production Supervision: Coordinate with tailors, pattern makers, and embroidery artisans to ensure timelines, design fidelity, and quality standards are met.




- ​Inventory & Trend Curation: Keep track of boutique inventory trends, seasonal shifts, and customer feedback to refine future product lines.

​Qualifications & Requirements
- ​Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in fashion design (boutique, couture, or custom-apparel experience preferred).
- ​Education: Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
- ​Technical Skills: Proficiency in flat sketching (hand or digital), pattern drafting, garment fitting, and tech pack creation. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop is a plus.
- ​Material Expertise: Strong understanding of fabric characteristics, drapes, garment construction, and handwork/embroidery techniques.
- ​Client & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset for custom fittings and design consultations.
- ​Organization: Ability to manage multiple client orders simultaneously and meet production deadlines under minimal supervision.

Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
