Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad for a specialist with experience in cooling water treatment in the fertiliser or refinery industry. The role involves monitoring and optimizing cooling water systems, including chemical dosing, corrosion and scale control, and microbiological management to ensure reliable plant operations. The candidate will be responsible for conducting regular water quality tests, analyzing data, troubleshooting system issues, and recommending corrective actions.





Daily tasks include coordinating with plant operations and maintenance teams, preparing technical reports, maintaining documentation for compliance, and supporting the implementation of best practices in water treatment. The role may also include training site personnel on cooling water treatment procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Practical experience in cooling water treatment in fertiliser plants or refinery operations, including system monitoring and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of industrial water chemistry, corrosion and scale control, microbiological fouling, and related treatment technologies.
- Ability to conduct and interpret water quality analyses, prepare technical reports, and recommend corrective or improvement actions.
- Familiarity with plant utilities, process equipment related to cooling systems, and basic understanding of environmental and safety regulations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with operations, maintenance, and safety teams on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
- Proven ability to work in an industrial environment, manage multiple tasks, and respond promptly to operational issues.
- Experience with fertiliser or refinery industry standards and practices is highly desirable.
