Job Description – Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – TMT Bar Rolling Mill

Designation: Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET)
Process: TMT Bar Manufacturing from Billets

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Monitor billet charging, reheating furnace temperature, and billet discharge.
- Learn and monitor rolling mill operations, including roughing, intermediate, and finishing stands.
- Monitor rolling speed, roll gaps, guide settings, and bar dimensions.
- Understand TMT quenching, self-tempering, and cooling processes.
- Monitor cooling bed, cutting, bundling, and finished product handling.
- Conduct basic quality checks for diameter, weight, length, and surface defects.
- Understand mechanical testing as per IS 1786.
- Monitor production targets, material yield, rejection, and process losses.
- Prepare daily production and shift reports.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain 5S and housekeeping.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
