Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Supplier Creation Executive to join our Master Data Team. The candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and validating supplier/vendor master records in the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, compliance, and adherence to internal policies and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and data validation.
- Valuable understanding of GST, PAN, TAN and basic statutory vendor documentation.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar platforms.
- 14 years of experience in Vendor Master Data / Supplier Creation / Master Data Management.
- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Prepare MIS reports on supplier creation requests, pending cases and TAT adherence.
- Maintain supplier master data accuracy and support periodic data cleansing and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, compliance requirements and audit guidelines.




- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all supplier creation and modification activities.
- Ensure all supplier creation requests are processed within the defined turnaround time (TAT).
- Perform vendor master data modifications and updates based on approved requests.
- Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Accounts Payable and other stakeholders for missing information or discrepancies.
- Ensure correct mapping of supplier categories, payment terms, tax details and other relevant master data fields.
- Validate supplier information to avoid duplicate vendor creation.
- Create new supplier/vendor master records in the ERP system with accurate details.
- Verify supplier documents, including PAN, GSTIN, TAN, cancelled cheque, bank details, address proof and other statutory documents.
- Receive and process supplier/vendor creation requests from internal departments and business units.
