Job Description – Purchase Manager

Location: Bareja, Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Experience: 4–5 Years
Salary Budget: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month
Qualification: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Job Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts.
- Raise purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely material delivery.
- Coordinate with production, stores, quality, and finance departments.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available as per production requirements.
- Maintain vendor records, purchase documentation, and MIS reports.
- Track market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Handle supplier performance evaluation and resolve material quality or delivery issues.
- Ensure purchases comply with company policies and quality standards.

Required Skills





- Solid negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of mechanical engineering materials and components.
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/SAP systems.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple purchasing activities independently.

Candidate Profile

- B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in purchase/procurement.
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering industry preferred.
- Candidates should be willing to work at Bareja, Ahmedabad.

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month (depending on experience and skills).

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
