- Perform incoming material inspections to ensure compliance with approved quality standards and specifications.
- Inspect incoming raw materials, components and assemblies received from suppliers.
- Conduct dimensional, visual and functional inspections as per engineering drawings and inspection standards.
- Verify supplier test certificates, inspection reports and material documentation.
- Identify, record and report incoming material defects and non-conformities.
- Coordinate with SQA and Purchase teams for supplier-related quality issues.
- Prepare rejection reports and maintain incoming inspection records.
- Ensure proper identification, segregation and control of rejected materials.
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor supplier quality performance and incoming rejection trends.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection instruments.
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records and relevant documentation.
