- Conduct material testing and analysis of incoming raw materials and finished components.
- Perform chemical composition analysis of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
- Conduct mechanical testing, including tensile strength, hardness and impact testing.
- Handle material testing equipment such as Spectrometer, Hardness Tester, Universal Testing Machine (UTM) and Metallurgical Microscope.
- Perform metallurgical examinations and microstructure analysis of materials.
- Verify material properties against approved specifications and standards.
- Conduct testing of casting, machining and other engineering components.
- Prepare and maintain material testing reports and laboratory records.
- Support supplier quality and incoming inspection teams in material-related quality concerns.
- Investigate material failures and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of laboratory testing equipment.
- Maintain laboratory practices as per applicable quality standards and safety requirements.
