The Opportunity

? Location: Hubli, Karnataka (On-site)

Domain: Embedded Linux | C/C++ | Real-Time Systems | Hardware–Software Integration

We are looking for an Embedded Linux Software Engineer to develop, integrate, debug, and maintain software powering our advanced defence systems.

You will work at the intersection of embedded computing, sensors, computer vision, and real-time systems, taking software from development to integration on actual hardware.

What You'll Do

- Develop, maintain, and debug C/C++ applications on embedded Linux platforms.
- Integrate cameras, sensors, perception algorithms, and hardware interfaces.
- Develop and optimize real-time data acquisition, processing, and communication pipelines.
- Integrate embedded user interfaces, system controls, and application features.
- Troubleshoot complex software and hardware–software integration issues.
- Work with existing codebases to improve functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Participate in system bring-up, integration,



testing, and field trials.
- Write clean, maintainable, version-controlled, and well-documented code.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills

- 2–5 years of hands-on embedded software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++, including debugging and maintaining existing software.
- Practical experience developing applications on embedded Linux systems.
- Experience with hardware interfaces and protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, USB, or Ethernet.
- Understanding of multithreading, IPC, timing constraints, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Linux debugging tools, Git, and build systems.
- Ability to independently investigate and resolve complex technical problems.

Good to Have

- Experience with ARM-based platforms (Radxa, Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, or similar).
- Experience integrating cameras, IMUs, and other sensors.
- Familiarity with OpenCV, Qt/QML, or GStreamer.
- Knowledge of Python, cross-compilation, or Yocto.
