Key Responsibilities:

An Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, installing, testing, operating, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operation.

1. Design and Engineering

- Prepare electrical layouts, drawings, and single-line diagrams (SLD).

- Design electrical power distribution systems.

- Calculate cable sizing, load calculations, and voltage drop.

- Select electrical equipment such as transformers, motors, switchgear, MCC and PCC panels.

- Review electrical drawings and technical specifications.

1. Installation and Execution

- Supervise electrical installation and commissioning activities.

- Ensure proper installation of cables, cable trays, panels, lighting, and earthing systems.

- Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and other engineering departments.

- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.

1. Testing and Commissioning

- Conduct insulation resistance (IR) and continuity tests.

- Perform electrical equipment testing.

- Check protection systems, relays, circuit breakers, and earthing.

- Ensure systems are functioning properly before handover.

1. Maintenance and Troubleshooting





- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.

- Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults.

- Maintain transformers, motors, generators, UPS, and electrical panels.

- Minimize equipment breakdowns and production downtime.

1. Safety and Compliance

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.

- Follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.

- Ensure proper earthing and electrical protection.

- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.

1. Documentation and Reporting

- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.

- Maintain electrical drawings and equipment records.

- Prepare BOQ, material requisitions, and technical reports.

- Maintain inspection and testing documentation.

1. Coordination and Team Management

- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and project teams.

- Supervise electricians and technicians.

- Coordinate with vendors and contractors.

- Ensure work is completed within budget and project deadlines.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
