Dynatrace Lead -

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Expert in design and implementation of Application Performance Management (APM) toolsets in large-scale, enterprise environments. Prior implementation and customizations experience with Dynatrace tool
- Dynatrace multi-tenant setup implementation and support experience
- Experience in instrumenting mainly Telecom applications like BSS and OSS applications
- Lead in architectural areas to participate in delivering projects spanning across the OSS/BSS modules and the associated processesin turn making them ingested into Dynatrace to achieve E2E user journeys which should cover both B2C and B2B functions
- Excellent in Support, maintain, and expand Dynatrace infrastructure to meet future architecture design and deployment requirements
- Hands on experience in administration of Dynatrace OneAgent
- Excellent in solutions and establish standards for Dynatrace agent deployments, tagging, including optimizations and tunings per requirements.
- Adopt Dynatrace for usage in Cloud IaaS and PaaS models.
- Dynatrace Active Gates Implementation, Upgrades, Patching etc
- Define an authentication and authorization model for Dynatrace within the standard Client security framework. Develop customizations as needed.
- Work closely with infrastructure, Application, Development and project teams to onboard application into Dynatrace
- Architect a highly available and scalable Controller infrastructure with appropriate monitoring and alerting mechanisms.




- Work with all levels of business functions within the company to understand problems with the IT business issues and propose resolutions
- Seek opportunities for automated deployments to reduce operational tasks.
- Seek opportunities for integration of Dynatrace with other monitoring tools in the Client portfolio and with ITSM solution
- Test and implement Dynatrace Monitoring Extensions appropriate for Clients technology stack (e.g., Web Servers; Messaging, slack, paging systems).
- Test and implement Synthetic and Real user Experience Monitoring using Dynatrace.
- Build / maintain Dynatrace dashboards, Configure Rules, policies etc

Required Skills:

- Strong Dynatrace product knowledge (All agent modules, Synthetic, RUM, Log Analytics etc modules), different application stacks, product REST API and use those skills to address business and technical issues
- Train users on best practices and Dynatrace features to proactively monitor performance in their setting as well as use the product to identify bottlenecks as needed
- Extensive industry experience in deploying Dynatrace for mission critical applications.
- Help business teams to setup policies alerts, dashboards and custom configuration to get full visibility into their entire environment.
- Working experience in monitoring and performance tools.




- Good technical skill sets in Java and Unix shell/Python scripting.
- Exposure to full application lifecycle development including coding; testing; deployment; and post-implementation activities.
- Ability to develop Dynatrace Extensions.
- Experience with any scripting languages and automate tasks and manipulate data. SQL Experience a plus
- Strong technical, analytic and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems
- Proven proficiency with Dynatrace monitoring of large-scale applications and
- Drives day to day operations and work plan allocation/management.
- Weekly and monthly status reports to higher management.
- Participate in business meetings with various stake holders.
- Take corrective actions based on the customer satisfaction surveys.
- Drive service improvement programs.
- Ensure adherence to quality / security standards defined for the engagement Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective teams/individual to minimize the incidents.

Additional Skills Preferred:

- Dynatrace Professional Certification
- Exposure to Cloud environments such as Azure and AWS
- Exposure to authentication and entitlement management with LDAP or SAML.
- Good knowledge of Containers, Kubernetes environments etc
- Exposure to Middleware components such as WebServer, AppServer, Messaging, Integration
- Problems and root cause identification during Performance load testing phase and integration of Performance/load testing tools with Dynatrace
