The Driver cum Stores Assistant will operate the Coimbatore Ace vehicle and support day-to-day factory operations. Alongside driving, the role covers local purchase of raw materials, courier booking, material replacement coordination, store assistance and general local assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the vehicle log book, trip records, fuel entries and mileage.
- Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy and ready for use; report servicing needs, repairs and breakdowns promptly.
- Submit bills and purchase documents to the Accounts and Stores teams on time.
- Book couriers and transport for outgoing and incoming items as instructed.
- Prepare and pack items safely and attach the correct address, details and documents.
- Assist the Stores In-charge in receiving, unloading, checking,
stacking and issuing materials.
- Carry out any other work assigned by management related to factory operations.
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum SSLC / 10th pass; Plus Two preferred.
- Valid driving licence for light motor vehicles (LMV), with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience, preferably with goods vehicles such as an Ace.
