Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing engineering drawings for completeness, accuracy, and correctness in Adherence to ASME, AWS and internal standards
- Check dimensions, tolerances, GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), notes, and specifications.
- Ensure proper drawing formats, titles, revision control, and numbering.
- Validate BOM (Bill of Materials) against drawings and assemblies.
Skills Required
- Robust knowledge of mechanical drafting in adherence to ASME/ANSI, AWS etc.,
- Expert is reading various Manufacturing and assembly drawings.
- GD&T; expertise.
- BOM and PLM systems knowledge (Teamcenter, Windchill).
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing and Fabrication processes such as machining, sheet metal, welding, and assemblies.
- Knowledge of any CAD software, preferably Creo or NX.
