Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to handle hydraulic systems, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and breakdown activities in a Ductile Iron Pipe Manufacturing Plant.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Monitor and maintain hydraulic systems and equipment across the plant.
- Handle hydraulic power packs, pumps, motors, cylinders and control valves.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic circuit failures, oil leakage and pressure-related issues.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Monitor hydraulic pressure, oil temperature and system performance.
- Identify hydraulic system abnormalities and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain hydraulic drawings, maintenance records and shift reports.
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime.




- Ensure proper hydraulic oil filtration, cleanliness and lubrication practices.
- Follow plant safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Required Technical Skills

- Hands-on experience in industrial hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders and directional control valves.
- Understanding of hydraulic circuits and pressure control systems.
- Knowledge of hydraulic hoses, fittings, filters and accumulators.
- Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic breakdowns.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance.

Preferred Experience

Experience in heavy manufacturing industries, steel plants, foundries or DI pipe manufacturing plants will be preferred.
