Hiring: Junior Civil Engineer / Site Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a knowledgeable, responsible and trustworthy Civil Engineer to assist with construction activities, site supervision and project coordination.

The ideal candidate should have good technical knowledge, a practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with contractors, workers and management.

We are looking for someone who is punctual, proactive, honest and willing to learn and grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision

- Monitor day-to-day construction activities.
- Supervise labour and contractor work.
- Ensure work is carried out according to drawings and specifications.
- Monitor quality of construction materials and workmanship.
- Maintain daily site progress reports.

2. Technical Knowledge

- Understand basic civil and structural drawings.
- Read and interpret building plans.
- Understand measurements, levels and dimensions.
- Basic knowledge of RCC, concrete, steel, brickwork and plastering.
- Assist in quantity calculations and material estimation.

3. Project Coordination

- Coordinate with contractors, vendors and site workers.
- Monitor work progress and timelines.
- Identify site issues and report them to management.
- Follow up on material requirements and deliveries.

4. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain daily work progress reports.




- Record material consumption and requirements.
- Prepare basic BOQs and quantity statements.
- Maintain site photographs and documentation.
- Provide regular updates to management.

Basic Skills Required

- Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Ability to read civil and structural drawings.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.
- Understanding of construction materials and methods.
- Basic quantity estimation and measurement skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
