ob Purpose To provide safe and effective technical support during haemodialysis procedures, operate and maintain dialysis equipment, monitor patients during treatment, and ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety and hospital protocols.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesPatient Preparation and Care

- Verify patient identity and dialysis prescription before initiating treatment.
- Prepare patients for dialysis procedures.
- Check pre-dialysis vital signs and record observations.
- Assist in patient positioning and preparation.
- Monitor patients throughout the dialysis session.
- Immediately report complications or abnormal changes to the concerned doctor or nurse.
- Provide post-dialysis care and record post-treatment observations.

Dialysis Machine Operation
- Prepare and operate haemodialysis machines as per established protocols.
- Check machine functionality before every procedure.
- Ensure proper functioning of dialyzer, blood tubing and other accessories.
- Monitor machine parameters throughout the procedure.
- Ensure appropriate dialysate preparation and conductivity checks as per protocol.
- Identify machine alarms and take appropriate corrective action within the scope of responsibility.
- Ensure proper disinfection and maintenance of dialysis machines.

Infection Control and Safety
- Follow hand hygiene practices and standard precautions.
- Maintain aseptic techniques during dialysis procedures.
- Follow hospital infection prevention and control policies.




- Ensure proper cleaning and disinfection of dialysis stations.
- Segregate and dispose of biomedical waste as per hospital guidelines.
- Follow needle-stick injury prevention protocols.
- Maintain a clean and safe dialysis environment.

Documentation and Records
- Maintain dialysis treatment records.
- Record pre- and post-dialysis vital signs.
- Document machine parameters and treatment details.
- Maintain patient dialysis registers.
- Record machine cleaning and disinfection activities.
- Maintain consumables and stock usage records.
- Report equipment breakdowns and maintenance requirements.

Equipment and Inventory Management
- Check the availability of dialysis consumables.
- Monitor stock levels of dialyzers, blood tubing, needles and other supplies.
- Report shortages to the Dialysis In-Charge.
- Ensure proper storage of dialysis materials.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment.

Daily Responsibilities
- Check dialysis machines and equipment before starting procedures.
- Prepare dialysis stations and required consumables.
- Verify patient details and dialysis prescriptions.
- Assist in conducting dialysis procedures.
- Monitor patients and document treatment parameters.
- Clean and disinfect machines after each session.
- Update registers and report issues to the In-Charge.

Pay: ₹9,500.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
