Role & responsibilities

1. Operate and monitor Diesel Generator (DG) sets in a Data Centre facility.
2. Perform DG start-up, shutdown and routine operational activities.
3. Monitor DG parameters including voltage, current, frequency, temperature, oil pressure and fuel levels.
4. Handle DG synchronization, load sharing and load transfer operations.
5. Operate and monitor AMF panels and DG control panels.
6. Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of DG sets.
7. Identify DG faults and coordinate breakdown maintenance.
8. Maintain DG operation logs, fuel consumption records and maintenance reports.
9. Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and operational standards.
10. Coordinate with the electrical and facility operations team during emergency situations.

Preferred candidate profile





- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in DG operation and maintenance.
- Practical knowledge of Diesel Generators, AMF Panels and DG Control Panels.
- Knowledge of DG synchronization, load sharing and electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience in Data Centre, Commercial Buildings or Critical Infrastructure facilities will be preferred.
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance and electrical safety procedures.
- Must be willing to work in 247 rotational shifts.
- Candidates should be willing to relocate to Hebbal, Bengaluru.
