D&A; (Discounts & Allowances)

1. Scheme Governance & Settlement

- Reviewing, validating, and settling Head Office (HO) and Branch schemes against sales performance and company commercial policies.
- Tracking all India FOC billing and monitoring FOC pendency scheme wise.
- Processing and releasing HO Credit Notes (CNs) and facilitating Branch D&A; verification.

1. Provisions, Accounting & Financial Control

- Preparing monthly Category and HO scheme provision files with complete financial backing.
- Monitoring Discounts & Allowances (D&A;) expenses against budgets to maintain financial control.
- Assisting in Category-wise actual expense reporting and variance analysis (Actuals vs. Provisions/Budget).

1. D&A; Master Data & Reconciliation

- Maintain Structured Discount data in the system to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Conducting monthly reconciliations of structured discounts, identifying root causes for variances, and posting necessary financial adjustments.

1. Digital Transformation & Process Automation





- Leading automation initiatives to eliminate manual calculations and reduce turnaround times (TAT).
- Collaborating on the revamp, testing, and rollout of the Trade Scheme Module during upcoming ERP/system upgrades.
- Enhancing the Salesforce (SFDC) HO Scheme module for straight-through processing of scheme settlements.

1. Business partnering

- Co-ordinate with Category and Branch teams to support commercial strategy and operations.
- Streamline queries from branch managers regarding scheme eligibility, claim status, budget availability, and credit note turnaround times (TAT).

Preferred candidate profile a. 3 - 4 yrs Experience years of experience with relevant exposure to Financial Accounting and commercial Control domain b. Accounting Principle and Financial Statement Literacy c. Experience in Trade Scheme settlements d. Strong SAP Knowledge e. Solid Communication and presentation & Analytical skills
