A technically sound mechanical professional with extensive experience in EPC project procurement, machinery and plant sourcing, vendor development, and installation, possessing strong market knowledge and the ability to independently manage procurement and installation activities through suppliers, contractors, and specialized agencies while ensuring timely project completion.

- Lead and manage mechanical procurement and installation activities for large-scale Industrial and Government EPC Projects.
- Handle procurement of various types of machinery, plants, mechanical equipment, and systems required for EPC projects.
- Identify and develop reliable manufacturers, suppliers, and installation agencies with strong market knowledge and competitive sourcing capabilities. Manage vendor selection, technical and commercial evaluations, price negotiations, purchase orders, and timely material delivery.
- Supervise installation, erection, testing, and commissioning of machinery and plants through vendors, contractors, and specialized agencies.
- Ensure timely procurement, installation, quality compliance, cost control, and adherence to project schedules.
- Coordinate with government authorities, clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams. Attend technical meetings,



obtain necessary approvals, and resolve procurement, installation, and project-related issues.
- Ensure effective coordination between project sites, Head Office, suppliers, and installation agencies.
- Develop and establish a competent team of engineers to effectively manage, coordinate, and execute project activities within the stipulated timelines.
- Monitor multiple projects and report procurement status, installation progress, and critical issues directly to the CMD.

Candidate Requirements

- Mandatory experience in mechanical procurement, machinery/plant installation, vendor development, and commercial negotiations.
- Solid market knowledge of machinery, plant equipment, manufacturers, suppliers, and installation agencies. Proven ability to source suitable machinery and equipment within project timelines and arrange installation through vendors or specialized agencies.
- Sound technical knowledge of mechanical equipment, plant installation, erection, testing, and commissioning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, planning, and problem-solving skills.
