Strategic Business Manager – Specialty Chemicals

Location: Vadodara | Work from office

Compensation: ₹24–28 LPA base · Up to ₹40 LPA total compensation

A VC-backed, high-growth B2B specialty materials and supply-chain company with a global footprint. It runs operations across several countries and serves customers in 30+ markets.

About the role

Part of the leadership team, you will own growth and profitability for specialty chemicals, fine chemicals and oilfield categories, working closely with the founders.

What you'll do

- Build growth plans, annual operating plans and long-term roadmaps for your categories.

- Own revenue, gross margin and profitability targets, and drive pricing and margin improvement.

- Shape value-chain strategy across raw materials, intermediates and end-use applications.

- Drive customer acquisition, key account growth and commercial negotiations.

- Lead cross-functional projects with sourcing, manufacturing, R&D;, supply chain and finance.





- Support the founders on investment decisions, market entry and executive reporting.

What we're looking for

- 5–10 years in strategy, business planning, category management, consulting, specialty chemicals or business operations.

- P&L; or business performance ownership (highly preferred).

- Exposure to specialty, industrial, pharma or agrochemical sectors is a plus.

- Solid analytical, communication and presentation skills, and comfort with ambiguity.
