Backend Developer Intern

Accemberg Technologies is inviting applications for a Backend Developer Intern to contribute to server-side application development, database integration, API development, and third-party service integration. The intern will work on backend functionality and system integration while gaining practical experience through real-world projects.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain server-side components using relevant backend technologies.
- Build, integrate, and test REST APIs to support application functionality.
- Integrate databases and manage data connections using suitable database technologies.
- Assist with third-party application and service integrations.
- Apply secure API design principles when developing backend functionality.
- Use command-line tools to support development, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with frontend and full-stack developers to integrate backend services with user interfaces.
- Adapt to evolving technologies and project requirements.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, and Next.js.
- Familiarity with the MERN stack.
- Understanding of database integration using SQL, PostgreSQL, Firebase, or Supabase.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and command-line tools.
- Understanding of third-party application integrations.




- Familiarity with secure API design principles.
- Ability to learn and work with evolving backend technologies.

Internship Structure and Advantages

- Initial probation period: 1–2 months.
- Stipend: The initial probation period will be unpaid. Following the probation period, interns will be eligible for a performance-based, project-based stipend determined by their performance and contributions.
- Certificate: An official internship certificate will be provided upon successful completion of the internship and fulfilment of company requirements.
- Letter of Recommendation: Interns demonstrating strong performance, commitment, and meaningful project contributions may receive a letter of recommendation.
- Real-World Project Experience: Opportunity to work on practical projects and gain exposure to backend development, API integration, database management, system integration, collaboration, and problem-solving.
- Work Mode: Remote or on-site, as agreed.
