JOB DESCRIPTION

Designation: Hindi & Sanskrit Language Teacher

Roles & Responsibilities

- To teach Hindi and Sanskrit languages as per the prescribed curriculum and academic guidelines.
- To prepare effective lesson plans, teaching materials and classroom activities.
- To develop students' reading, writing, speaking and comprehension skills.
- To teach Hindi and Sanskrit grammar, vocabulary, literature and language concepts.
- To encourage students to develop an interest in Indian languages, literature and culture.
- To conduct regular class tests, assignments, dictation and language-based activities.
- To assess students' performance and provide necessary academic support.
- To ensure timely completion of the prescribed syllabus.
- To organise activities such as debates, essay writing, poetry recitation, storytelling and speech competitions.
- To maintain students' attendance, academic records and assessment reports.
- To provide remedial classes and individual guidance to students whenever required.




- To maintain classroom discipline and create an effective learning environment.
- To coordinate with parents and school authorities regarding students' academic progress.
- To perform any other duties assigned by the Principal or School Management.

Reporting Authority: Principal / Academic Coordinator / HOD – Languages.

Primary Objective: To develop strong language proficiency, communication skills, literary appreciation and cultural awareness among students through effective teaching of Hindi and Sanskrit.

Required Qualification & Experience

- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Hindi and/or Sanskrit, as applicable.
- B.Ed. qualification as per applicable recruitment norms.
- Solid command over Hindi and Sanskrit grammar and literature.
- Previous school teaching experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
