Within 2 years of commercial launch of its services, BiofuelCircle boasts of close to 1,000 business subscriber and a reach to > 10,000 farmers across 4 Indian states. Its E-Commerce marketplace currently handles annual transactions of > Rs 200 crores. The company also has field offices in Ahmedabad, Recent Delhi, and Chennai to drive business in local markets. Having established its digital platform-based business model, BiofuelCircle is now expanding its business and also widening its services portfolio. The company plans to grow its team and add more field locations.

Key Purpose of the Role:

BiofuelCircle aims to establish a Billion Dollar annual transaction volume on its digital platform by 2028. To get there, it needs to have >10,000 business subscribers and a reach to >1 million farmers. The company has a unique business model that combines digital platform-based business with physical supply ecosystem.



The Supply Operations function is a key element of the company’s model, and broadly includes: 1. Aggregation Depots 2. Warehouse Network 3. Managed Biofuel Plants The company intends to have upward of 500 Depots, 100 warehouses and 400 small biofuel manufacturing plants under its management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Asset & Machine management Network • Deputation at BFC Project sites for Predictive & Reactive Maintenance activity of production machines. • (Predictive Maintenance activity to be executed are categorized as Commissioning, Daily walk around inspection, Preventive Maintenance, Pre-production reliability repair & Preservation of Assets. Reactive Maintenance activity can be categorized as Trouble-shooting , break-down & major repairs.) • Maintaining min required stock of spares for ensuring asset operations at peak efficiency. Solving day to day operational issues if any and reach short term and long-term performance goals in line with the organization. • Supervising and coordinating activities of BFC service technicians deployed at Biomass banks. • Comply with all safety and health regulations. • This position will ensure equipment life cycle management on BFC platform. • Documenting all maintenance activities, highlighting potential risk and suggest proactive upgrades • Close coordination with OEM’s and ensuring maximum uptime and revenue generations from available assets.
