Role Description The Cosmetologist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The cosmetologist will perform a range of beauty and wellness services, including skin and hair treatments, basic nail care, and support for laser and aesthetic procedures under guidance. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting clients, assessing their concerns, recommending suitable treatments, and delivering services while maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and client comfort.

The role involves explaining treatment plans, educating clients on aftercare and products, documenting services, and coordinating appointments. The cosmetologist will collaborate with the clinic team to ensure a seamless client experience, support promotional activities,



and uphold SOZO's service and professionalism standards.

Qualifications

- Qualified cosmetology or beauty therapy training from a recognized institute, with hands-on experience in salon, clinic, or spa settings.

- Strong skills in skin and hair care services, including facials, peels or mask applications, basic hair treatments, scalp care, and related aesthetic procedures.

- Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and sanitation practices, including proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and products.

- Client consultation and communication skills, with the ability to understand client needs, provide clear explanations, and offer honest recommendations.

- Service-oriented mindset with a focus on client experience, patience, empathy, and the ability to work with diverse clients in a professional manner.

- Ability to follow clinical protocols, document treatments accurately, and coordinate with doctors, therapists, and front-desk staff.

- Basic understanding of laser, aesthetic, and wellness services (training will be provided); willingness to learn new techniques and technologies.

- Comfort with working in a structured, on-site environment, flexible to work weekends or extended hours as required.

- Proficiency in spoken English and local languages for effective client interaction; strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
