Job Summary

We are looking for detail-oriented and language-proficient Copy Editors to join our Publishing and E-Publishing team. The ideal candidate should have strong English language skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to review, edit, and refine written content according to client-specific guidelines and publishing standards.

Freshers with good English communication, grammar, and comprehension skills are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and edit manuscripts, books, journals, research papers, and academic content.
- Correct grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and typographical errors.
- Improve sentence structure, clarity, readability, and language consistency.
- Ensure consistency in terminology, abbreviations, capitalization, and formatting.
- Follow client-specific style guides and editorial instructions.
- Verify headings, references, tables, figures, captions, and cross-references.
- Perform proofreading and quality checks before final submission.
- Coordinate with team members and Quality Analysts to resolve editorial queries.
- Meet project deadlines, productivity targets, and quality standards.

Required Skills
- Excellent English grammar and written language skills.
- Solid proofreading and editing abilities.
- Good reading comprehension and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sentence structure, punctuation,



and vocabulary.
- Basic knowledge of MS Word and document editing tools.
- Ability to understand and follow editorial guidelines.
- Good time management and willingness to work with deadlines.

Educational Qualification
- Any bachelor's degree is acceptable.
- Graduates in English, Literature, Journalism, Communication, BCA, B.Sc., or related disciplines are preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong English language skills are encouraged to apply.

Experience
- Freshers: Candidates with good English grammar, writing, and comprehension skills can apply.
- Experienced: 1–5 years of experience in Copy Editing, Proofreading, Academic Publishing, STM Publishing, or E-Publishing will be preferred.

Compensation Salary: As per experience, language proficiency, and editorial skills.
