Job Title: HR Compliance Officer

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HR Compliance Officer to manage and ensure compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and internal HR policies for our contract staffing operations in India. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of statutory compliance requirements in India, including those relevant to contract workers, temporary staffing

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 10-15 Years

Qualification: Graduate / MBA in HR or equivalent. A qualification in Labour Laws will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle statutory compliance relating to PF, ESIC, Qualified Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, minimum wages, bonus, gratuity and contract labour requirements, as applicable.
- Coordinate with Government Departments
- Prepare and maintain employee records, statutory registers, returns, challans and compliance documents.
- Verify attendance, wage calculations,



overtime, deductions and payroll inputs.
- Coordinate contractor registrations, licences, renewals and site compliance requirements.
- Prepare client-wise and location-wise monthly compliance submissions.
- Coordinate with clients, site teams, payroll, accounts and government authorities.
- Support statutory inspections, client audits and closure of compliance observations.
- Track regulatory updates and maintain a compliance calendar.

Required Skills:

- Practical knowledge of statutory portals and compliance processes.
- Experience handling multiple clients, sites and employee locations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll / HR software.
- Strong documentation, communication and coordination skills.

Candidates with experience in contract staffing / manpower outsourcing companies will be preferred.
