- Supervise and manage daily operations of the Physiotherapy Department, ensuring smooth workflow and quality patient care.

- Assess patients and oversee the planning and delivery of appropriate physiotherapy treatment as per clinical requirements.

- Ensure implementation of treatment protocols, clinical standards and patient safety practices.

- Monitor patient progress and ensure timely review and modification of treatment plans in coordination with treating consultants.

- Manage duty allocation, scheduling, attendance and performance of physiotherapy staff.

- Train, guide and develop physiotherapy team members to maintain clinical competency and service standards.

- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, ICU, IPD, OPD and other departments for timely physiotherapy services.

- Ensure availability,



proper utilization and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment and accessories.

- Monitor patient feedback, resolve complaints and take corrective actions to improve patient satisfaction.

- Maintain departmental records, patient treatment documentation, reports and MIS.

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control practices, NABH standards and departmental protocols.

- Monitor departmental performance indicators, productivity and patient satisfaction.

- Identify training requirements and organize continuous learning and skill development activities.

- Support the HOD in budgeting, manpower planning, departmental audits and implementation of improvement initiatives.
