Position Summary

Provide academic and intellectual leadership to the Department of Accounting Finance, shaping its vision, research culture and national and international standing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching and mentoring

- Teach, mentor and inspire UG, PG and doctoral learners through innovative, outcome-based and technology-mediated pedagogy
- Mentor junior faculty and build a culture of scholarship, ethics and academic excellence

2. Curriculum

- Lead curriculum design and periodic revision in line with NEP 2020, including elective, audit, credit, bridge and augmentation courses

3. Research

- Guide and supervise PhD scholars and drive high-impact research published in Scopus, Web of Science and ABDC-ranked journals
- Secure externally funded research projects, consultancy assignments and industry and international collaborations

4. Quality and administration

- Contribute to NAAC, NIRF and other applicable processes, including accreditation documentation, quality assurance and academic audits
- Support admissions, academic administration, examinations and maintenance of academic data as directed by the Dean or higher authority

Essential Qualifications:

- Ph.D. in Accounting Finance or an allied or relevant discipline
- Eminent scholar with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research
- Minimum 10 research publications in Scopus, Web of Science, ABDC and other reputed, peer-reviewed indexed journals, with a total research score of 120 as per UGC Regulations, 2018
- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience at university or college level as Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor, and/or equivalent research experience at university or national-level institutions
- Evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates
- An outstanding professional with a Ph.D. in a relevant,



allied or applied discipline, working in an academic institution (other than those covered above) or in industry, with 10 years’ experience and documentary evidence of significant contribution to knowledge in the concerned, allied or relevant discipline.

Desirable Attributes:

- Books, book chapters, patents and case studies of national or international repute
- Funded research projects and consultancy experience
- Experience in NAAC, NBA or NIRF accreditation and institutional quality initiatives
- International exposure, collaborations and keynote or invited engagements
- Experience in curriculum development, academic leadership and industry engagement

Specialization Required:

- Economics, research and statistical analysis, and papers such as equity and debt markets
- General management papers and communication skills
