Role & responsibilities

1.Driving cost reduction project Tool cost, quality Improvement, Productivity Improvement

2.Monitoring and reducing Internal customer complaint with related to the tooling.

3.Conduct Continuous Improvement project for optimization of tooling Cost

4.Checking the tool concept with the fixture for fouling & working towards cycle time reduction in toolings

5.Preparing tool drawing, routing, process sheet & work instruction, SOPs etc.

6.Coordinate with the cutting tool supplier for the new design and for the tool delivery .

7.Aligning individual tool life monitoring.

8.Sound knowledge in machining centre, machining process, tool selection, work holding system, cycle time reduction.

9.Co-ordinate with support functions to progress issues concerning process planning and resource/skill allocation to ensure delivery of products to schedule within all relevant quality specifications

10.Achieve the required company quality standards ensuring both internal and external customer satisfaction.

11.Knowledge on measurement techniques.





'-Troubleshoots and resolves related operational issues

-Conducts continuous improvement projects for optimization of manufacturing cost and cycle time

-Implements new manufacturing and lean processes for the introduction of new products or for the improvement of the existing ones

Preferred candidate profile

BE Mechanical / BE Production / DME Basics knowledge about UNIGRAPHICS NX CAD-CAM VERSION12 /1926 / 1953 , AutoCAD 5-7 years of experience (BE)

8-10 years of experience (Diploma) 1.He/ She should have knowledge & experience of various metal cutting processes like –Milling, Drilling, boring, slitting etc

2.Should know Machining fixture concept, various cutting tools & holders required for above operation. Knowledge of cutting parameters needed for Aluminum alloys is must.

3.Basic knowledge of FANUC control, Part prove out, Current tool try-out

4.Basic knowledge on measurements methods, Trimos, CMM, OMM etc

5.Basic Knowledge on Data
