We are looking for a Production Supervisor – Weld Shop to oversee daily welding and fabrication operations in an Auto Ancillary manufacturing workplace. The candidate will be responsible for supervising shop-floor activities, ensuring production targets are achieved, maintaining product quality, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily weld shop operations and ensure production targets are met.
- Monitor welding activities and ensure components are manufactured as per specifications.
- Allocate tasks to welders and operators and monitor their performance.
- Ensure the quality of welded components through regular inspections and coordination with the quality team.
- Identify welding defects and production issues and take corrective action.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to address machine breakdowns and equipment issues.
- Maintain production records, shift reports, and quality-related documentation.
- Ensure proper use of welding equipment, tools, and materials.




- Follow workplace safety procedures, 5S practices, and company quality standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow and timely completion of orders.

Requirements

- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or a related engineering field.
- Experience in production supervision, preferably in a weld shop or automotive manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of welding processes, welding equipment, and welded-component inspection.
- Ability to supervise welders and shop-floor operators.
- Understanding of quality control, workplace safety, and 5S practices.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
