We are seeking a skilled CATIA Design Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in automotive product design and development who is interested to learn and work in CATIA automation. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in CATIA V5/V6 modeling, assembly design, drafting, and engineering drawing creation. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality applications which will automate CATIA design workflows while ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in CATIA design.
- Experience in the Automotive domain is mandatory.

- Strong proficiency in

- Part Design

- Assembly Design

- Generative Shape Design (GSD)

- Drafting

- Sheet Metal Design (preferred)

- Good understanding of
- Automotive design and development processes
- GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Engineering drawings and manufacturing standards
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM)



and Design for Assembly (DFA)
- Experience in creating and managing large assemblies.
- Ability to interpret customer specifications, standards, and technical requirements.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Automotive BIW, Interior, Exterior, Chassis, Seating, Powertrain, or Plastic Trim components.
- Familiarity with ENOVIA / 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.
- CATIA Automation technologies such as EKL, VBA, Visual Scripting, etc.
- Knowledge of PLM workflows and release management processes.
