We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Carpentry & Wood Section Supervisor to oversee daily production operations in our wood and carpentry section. The candidate will be responsible for managing carpenters and helpers, allocating daily work, controlling labour, monitoring production progress, maintaining quality standards, minimising material wastage, and ensuring timely completion of production targets.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of carpentry, furniture manufacturing, workforce management, and production supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage daily carpentry and wood section production activities.
- Allocate daily tasks to carpenters, helpers, and other workers.
- Manage labour effectively and ensure optimum workforce utilisation.
- Monitor daily production targets and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.
- Maintain quality standards and accuracy in furniture manufacturing and woodwork.
- Coordinate with the Production Manager regarding production schedules and material requirements.
- Monitor the usage of wood, plywood, and other materials to minimise wastage.
- Identify production delays and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
- Maintain worker attendance, discipline, productivity, and work allocation records.




- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of carpentry tools and machinery.
- Ensure workers follow workplace safety procedures.
- Prepare and maintain daily production reports.

Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in carpentry, furniture manufacturing, or wood production supervision.
- Strong practical knowledge of woodworking, carpentry, and furniture manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience in managing and supervising carpenters and helpers.
- Positive labour management and workforce control skills.
- Ability to plan, allocate, and monitor daily production activities.
- Knowledge of production planning, material utilisation, and quality control.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to achieve production targets and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and team management skills.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to independently manage wood section operations.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
