Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Civil / Mechanical Estimation Engineer with practical knowledge of chain-link fencing systems, fabrication, fittings, material estimation, BOM and BOQ preparation. The candidate should be capable of interpreting technical drawings and independently calculating material requirements and project costs.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Candidates with relevant fabrication or construction engineering backgrounds may also apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings related to chain-link fencing systems.
- Identify fencing components, materials, fittings and accessories.
- Prepare detailed BOM (Bill of Materials) and BOQ (Bill of Quantities).
- Calculate material quantities, dimensions and specifications.
- Estimate requirements for GI pipes, PVC-coated chain-link mesh, tension wires and other fencing components.
- Identify and calculate requirements for corner posts, line posts, straining posts and brace rail systems.
- Understand fencing fittings such as tension bands, brace bands, winding brackets, turnbuckles, truss rods,



tension bars and post caps.
- Prepare material cost estimates and quantity calculations.
- Coordinate with fabrication, procurement and project teams for technical requirements.
- Ensure material calculations are aligned with engineering drawings and project specifications.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of chain-link fencing systems and installation components.
- Experience in GI pipe fabrication and fencing fittings.
- Knowledge of material estimation and quantity calculations.
- Hands-on experience in BOM and BOQ preparation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.

Experience Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Prior experience in fencing, fabrication, structural steel or construction estimation.
- Ability to independently prepare material take-offs and cost estimates from technical drawings.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with practical experience in industrial fencing, chain-link fence fabrication, material calculations and project estimation will be preferred.
