Business Development Intern (Inside Sales & Field Marketing)

About MaaMeal At MaaMeal, we are a fast-growing food-tech platform delivering subscription-based, authentic regional home-cooked meals. We do not operate out of commercial restaurants. Instead, we partner with verified home-based chefs—everyday homemakers and mothers—to bring the true taste of regional Indian food to urban migrants and professionals. We are building something unique, and we are looking for core team members to help us grow.

The Role We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Intern to join our core crew. This role perfectly balances on-ground marketing ("spreading the aroma") with inside sales ("welcoming people to the table"). You will take direct ownership of driving growth, acquiring new subscribers, and building trust with our customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Field Marketing: Execute on-ground promotional campaigns, interact directly with potential customers in high-traffic areas (PGs, tech parks, apartments), and build local brand awareness for MaaMeal.
- Inside Sales: Handle inbound inquiries and conduct outbound calls to interested leads. Educate them on our home-chef model,



help them choose the right meal subscription, and close sales.
- Customer Engagement: Gather direct feedback from customers and relay it to our founding team to help improve our operations and meal offerings.
- Lead Generation: Identify current local partnerships and channels to acquire daily meal subscribers.

Qualifications

- You must be a final year student or recently graduated in 2025 or later
- No specific degree is required—we care about your hunger to learn, take ownership, and grow with us.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to pitch our vision both over the phone and face-to-face.

Compensation & Perks

- Stipend: ₹15,000 per month + Performance-based Incentives.
- Duration: 3-month paid and certified internship.
- Growth: This role has the potential to extend into a permanent, full time position based entirely on your performance and dedication.
