About the Role

The Collections Analyst executes collection activities and reconciles accounts for low-complexity third-party customers and/or regions in a timely manner. The role manages customer communications, supports payment application and billing-discrepancy follow-up, monitors portfolio KPIs, assists with audit preparation, participates in small projects, and identifies improvements to collection processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Contact low-complexity customers through different communication channels, including email, telephone, and approved messaging channels, and send updated account statements to customers and responsible sales teams.
- Provide the Accounts Receivable team with the information required to apply received payments and keep customer information updated in the GetPaid collections tool.




- Communicate billing discrepancies reported by customers to the appropriate team for resolution.
- Participate in ad hoc meetings with customers and business teams.
- Comply with the processes and requirements established in the applicable guidelines.
- Assist with the preparation of internal and external audits.
- Participate in small projects with support from the designated focal point.
- Monitor portfolio KPIs, including overdue balances and DSO, for assigned low-complexity businesses and provide explanations when requested.

Minimum Qualifications

- Education: : Professional qualification in Finance (e.g. B com, CA, CPA, etc.) or MBA or master’s degree in finance / accounting or related disciplines
- Work Experience: 1-3 years of experience in customer service, collections, finance operations, or a related field.
- Process Knowledge: Basic understanding of collections, customer-account reconciliation, payment application support, billing-discrepancy follow-up, audit preparation, and portfolio KPI monitoring.
- Decision-Making: Processes and actions are predefined in accordance with applicable guidelines.
- Leadership: No formal leadership experience is required.
- Project Experience: Experience participating in small projects is preferred.
- Core Skills: Advanced communication, attention to detail, basic problem-solving, customer focus, organization, and teamwork.
- Language skills indicate language and require level: C1 proficiency in Spanish and C2 proficiency in English.

Technical Skills

- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Basic working knowledge of SAP.
- Intermediate working knowledge of GetPaid or a comparable collections platform.
- Advanced English, Portuguese, and/or Spanish proficiency is required according to the region supported.
- Basic knowledge of collections KPIs, including overdue balances and DSO.
- Experience supporting internal and external audit preparation is an advantage.
- Experience in a shared services, multinational, or GCC environment is preferred.
