Job Purpose

To counsel patients regarding recommended eye surgeries, explain treatment procedures, provide cost details, coordinate surgery bookings, and ensure a smooth patient experience from consultation to surgery.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Counsel patients who are advised to undergo eye surgery by doctors.
- Explain surgery procedures, benefits, risks, and preparation requirements in easy language.
- Provide details of surgery packages, costs, and available payment options.
- Clarify patient doubts and help them make informed decisions.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, OT, and other departments for surgery scheduling.
- Follow up with patients who have not confirmed their surgery.
- Maintain accurate records of surgery enquiries, counseling, confirmations, and follow-ups.
- Ensure all required documents and pre-operative investigations are completed.
- Coordinate with patients regarding surgery dates and admission instructions.
- Handle patient concerns and provide necessary support throughout the process.
- Achieve assigned surgery conversion targets.
- Maintain good relationships with patients and their families.
- Ensure proper communication and coordination between patients and hospital departments.
