About the Role

Cleverhat Studios is looking for an experienced, self-driven Business Development & Marketing Professional who understands the creative and advertising industry and can independently drive client acquisition from the first interaction to deal closure.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience who understands how creative agencies operate, how to pitch their services, and how to convert business opportunities into long-term client relationships. This role requires practical industry knowledge, commercial awareness and the ability to deliver results from day one, without training or close supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, approach and acquire new clients for Cleverhat Studios.
- Work on company-provided leads while independently identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Confidently pitch Cleverhat Studios' services, understand client requirements and recommend relevant solutions.
- Independently manage the complete business development cycle, including prospecting, client meetings, presentations, proposals, negotiations, follow-ups and deal closure.
- Build strong relationships with founders, business owners, marketing heads, brand managers and other decision-makers.
- Develop new business opportunities across industries, including F&B;, hospitality, retail, lifestyle,



consumer brands and other relevant sectors.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently follow up on prospective clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover of newly acquired clients.
- Travel across Hyderabad and other cities in India as required for client meetings and business development.

Required Experience & Skills

- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in business development, client acquisition or marketing within creative agencies, advertising, branding, digital marketing, media or video production.
- A clear, practical understanding of Cleverhat Studios' services, including creative and advertising solutions, digital marketing, performance marketing, brand communication and video production.
- Demonstrated ability to independently pitch and sell agency services and close commercial deals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Confidence in handling client meetings and commercial discussions without supervision.
- Ability to understand client business requirements and translate them into relevant agency opportunities.
- Strong ownership, initiative and a results-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel across India when required.

Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who can take complete ownership of business development from day one. Candidates must already possess the relevant industry knowledge, service understanding and practical experience to independently manage the entire process without requiring training.
