Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Boiler Design Engineer with a robust background in mechanical design and industrial process boilers, particularly in the 1–15 TPH capacity range. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and preparing engineering drawings and technical documentation for industrial boilers while ensuring compliance with applicable engineering standards and IBR regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop industrial process boilers in the 1–15 TPH capacity range.
- Prepare boiler design calculations, technical specifications and engineering documentation.
- Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, layouts and foundation drawings.
- Prepare and review detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Ensure boiler designs comply with applicable IBR codes, standards and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, production and project teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.
- Review engineering drawings and incorporate necessary technical modifications.
- Coordinate with clients and internal departments regarding technical requirements and design specifications.
- Maintain design documentation, drawing revisions and engineering records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–10 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in industrial boiler manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in designing industrial process boilers, preferably in the 1–15 TPH range.
- Strong knowledge of boiler design principles and thermal engineering systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience in preparing GA drawings, layouts and foundation drawings.
- Knowledge of IBR codes, boiler standards and applicable engineering regulations.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with prior experience in industrial boiler manufacturing companies and hands-on exposure to process boiler design (1–15 TPH) will be preferred.
