Job Summary

Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and proper functioning of medical equipment to ensure patient safety and uninterrupted hospital operations.

Location: Chennai.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, inspect, and repair medical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of medical devices as per schedule.
- Maintain equipment service records, maintenance logs, and calibration reports.
- Ensure medical equipment complies with hospital safety standards and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with clinical departments to ensure the proper functioning of equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and report technical issues to the concerned authority.
- Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, and user training.
- Maintain biomedical equipment inventory and warranty/AMC/CMC records.
- Support hospital accreditation requirements, including NABH documentation related to biomedical equipment management.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering.




- Diploma in Biomedical Engineering may be considered based on experience and hospital requirements.

Experience 0-3 years of experience in hospital biomedical equipment maintenance preferred. Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also apply.
