Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Stores Manager to manage end-to-end stores and warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for inventory control, material receipt and issuance, stock reconciliation, ERP management, warehouse housekeeping, and team supervision to ensure smooth material flow and uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day stores, warehouse, and inventory operations.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices, and other relevant documents.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure physical stock matches ERP/system records.
- Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels, reorder levels, and slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Quality Control for incoming material inspection and ensure proper segregation of rejected or non-conforming materials.
- Ensure timely issuance of materials to production, assembly, maintenance, and other departments against authorized requests.
- Maintain accurate documentation of GRN, material issue notes, return notes, stock transfers, and stock adjustments.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices and maintain batch, lot, and serial-number traceability wherever applicable.
- Handle all stores transactions in ERP/SAP,



ensuring timely and accurate entries for receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
- Maintain documentation for internal audits, customer audits, statutory requirements, and ISO-related systems.
- Supervise and manage storekeepers, warehouse assistants, and material handlers.
- Allocate responsibilities, monitor team performance, and train team members on stores procedures and ERP transactions.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, material identification, labelling, rack management, and safe material-handling practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate or Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or a relevant discipline.
- 15–20 years of experience in Stores/Warehouse Management, preferably in HVAC, manufacturing, or engineering industries.
- Robust knowledge of inventory control, material management, warehouse operations, and stock reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/SAP systems and MS Office.
- Knowledge of GRN, FIFO/FEFO, material inward/outward, stock audits, and inventory documentation.
- Experience in handling and supervising store and warehouse teams.
- Good communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates from HVAC, engineering, automotive components, or manufacturing industries will be preferred.
- Should have strong experience in managing large-scale stores and inventory operations.
- Must be capable of independently handling complete stores and warehouse functions.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
