- Type: Fixed-term contract , remote
- Rate: ₹16,000 per day
- Duration: Long-term engagement with strong potential to extend beyond 2 years

Role Description The Azure Platform Engineer Lead designs, implements and maintains Azure-based infrastructure and platform services. Responsibilities include:

- Building and optimising Azure environments, including networking, security and governance
- Ensuring reliability, scalability and cost efficiency across the platform
- Leading troubleshooting of complex platform, performance and availability issues
- Working with development teams on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Supporting database and storage solutions




- Contributing to technical documentation and architecture reviews
- Advising on cloud best practice and compliance requirements

Qualifications

- Robust Azure infrastructure skills across networking, security, compute, storage and identity
- Automation and tooling experience in PowerShell, Python or similar, plus IaC (Terraform, Bicep or ARM)
- Experience with Azure data services such as Azure SQL and managed databases, including performance and security practices
- Advanced troubleshooting of complex cloud platform issues
- Track record of leading cloud engineering initiatives, mentoring engineers and working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights)
- Understanding of cloud security, compliance and governance frameworks in enterprise environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Azure certifications (Administrator, Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus
