Job Title: AVP Property & Engineering (P&E;) Underwriting

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the Property & Engineering Underwriting team.

- Underwrite and evaluate large and complex P&E; risks in line with company underwriting guidelines.

- Drive portfolio profitability through prudent risk assessment, pricing, and capacity management.

- Engage with brokers, intermediaries, and key clients for business development and relationship management.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the underwriting team.

- Support product development, risk inspections, and underwriting governance initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in Property & Engineering Underwriting within a General Insurance company.

- Solid exposure to underwriting large and complex commercial/industrial risks.

- Proven team handling and people management experience.

- Sound knowledge of property, engineering, fire, and allied perils underwriting.

- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
