Role & responsibilities

- Underwriting of Liability proposals for various products and clients.

- Business development: Customer interaction for deal closures, Techno- marketing, Product Presentations etc.

- Channel Management: interface between Brokers and Customers - training and development of various Liability products

- Coordination with other depts.: such as reinsurance, product specialists and accounts.

- Policy administration and documentation.

- Contribute in price review exercise at regular intervals through market benchmarking & identifying the areas for correction

- Liaison with all stakeholders (Sales, IT, Operations, Legal & Compliance) for all Underwriting matters.

- Ensure 100% compliance with all regulatory & product approval related aspects.

- Work with IT and Operations staff to ensure that business requirements are met and that customers are provided with a high level of service.

- Cyber liability underwriting experience would be an added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.





- 6-8 Years of experience in Underwriting with General Insurance firm

- Hands on experience with analytical tools and statistical packages

- Additional Insurance diploma or certification will be preferred

- Excellent comprehension and communication skills
