Description Guru Kashi University is seeking a highly qualified and creative Assistant Professor in Fine Arts to contribute to excellence in teaching, research, artistic innovation, and academic development. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, artistic skills, research aptitude, and the ability to mentor students while promoting creativity and practical learning.

Minimum Qualification

Ph.D. in Fine Arts or a relevant discipline is mandatory as per UGC/University norms. Candidates should possess an excellent academic record along with a passion for teaching, research, artistic exploration, and student mentoring.

Experience

3-4 years of relevant teaching and/or qualified experience in Fine Arts or a related discipline.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality theoretical and practical teaching in Fine Arts.
- Conduct studio-based learning, demonstrations, workshops,



and practical sessions.
- Develop, review, and update curriculum and course content in line with academic standards.
- Guide students in painting, drawing, sculpture, applied arts, and other relevant areas.
- Mentor students in creative projects, exhibitions, portfolios, and research activities.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in reputed national and international journals.
- Encourage artistic innovation, experimentation, and interdisciplinary learning.
- Organize art exhibitions, workshops, seminars, conferences, and other academic events.
- Participate in departmental administration, accreditation, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Undertake other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the university.
