Job Summary

Experienced Mechanical Engineering qualified responsible for leading the mechanical department, managing maintenance and engineering operations, supervising technical teams, and ensuring smooth plant operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the mechanical department, ensuring smooth and efficient plant and machinery operations.
- Plan, implement, and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Supervise mechanical maintenance teams, engineers, technicians, and contract manpower.
- Ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability while minimizing breakdowns and downtime.




- Monitor machinery performance and troubleshoot mechanical failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare maintenance schedules, annual maintenance plans, shutdown plans, and equipment inspection programs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including equipment downtime, MTTR, MTBF, and maintenance costs.
- Evaluate equipment performance and recommend modifications to improve productivity, efficiency, and equipment life.

Educational Qualification and Experience

- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Typically, 16+ years of relevant industrial experience, including experience managing mechanical maintenance teams.
- Experience in a manufacturing or process industry is preferred.
